WSC Regional Sales Representative

Purpose 

To define the roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for the Regional Sales Representative at SKY-CDS. 

Scope 

This document applies to the Regional Sales Representative responsible for generating new business, expanding client relationships, and driving regional growth in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. 

Summary of Position Focus 

The Regional Sales Representative will spearhead business development efforts in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisianna. This person will be responsible for growing SKY’s footprint with retailers, contractors, and developers—while also exploring new verticals such as hospitality, food service, cannabis, and healthcare environments. The role is ideal for a self-starter with a hunter mindset, strong industry knowledge, and the ability to build lasting client relationships. 

Responsibilities 

• Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, and local market outreach 

• Build and manage a pipeline of prospects in retail and emerging verticals like hospitality and healthcare environments 

• Conduct client meetings, site visits, and project scoping in collaboration with internal design and estimating teams 

• Develop tailored proposals and negotiate contract terms with decision-makers 

• Represent SKY at trade shows, local industry events, and association gatherings 

• Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets 

• Maintain records of client interactions, pipeline, and performance metrics in CRM 

• Provide ongoing client engagement throughout project lifecycle and handoff to operations 

Weekly Scorecard Metrics 

• Number of new outbound contacts initiated 

• New qualified opportunities added to pipeline 

• Client meetings and site visits completed 

• Proposals submitted and contracts negotiated 

• Event participation and brand representation 

• Sales target performance (monthly/quarterly) 

• CRM updates and pipeline accuracy maintained 

• Client engagement follow-ups and lifecycle coordination
