Purpose
To define the roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for the Onsite Project Manager at SKY-CDS.
Scope
This document applies to the Onsite Project Manager responsible for managing field installation projects, ensuring installation quality, all field needs are met, and maintaining communication with the Onsite Manager.
Summary of Position Focus
The Onsite Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all key installation projects – being onsite during the installation, organizing the daily schedule for the installation team, ensuring quality of work onsite, leading and training the installation team. Additionally, this role assists the On-Site Manager with project estimates and building our installation team network with quality options. This role serves as the link between field operations and the PM teams to ensure successful project execution. This role requires frequent travel.
Responsibilities
Being onsite during key installation projects
Lead the installation team by setting daily workflows, ensuring adherence to company installation policies (including professionalism, reporting, customer service, and dress code), maintaining compliance with safety and OSHA standards, and providing training to crew members as needed.
Execute Quality Control of project installations
Review daily installation site reports and photos, upload to project packet – ensure reporting consistency across crews
Work with the Project Management team, ensuring all onsite needs are met as it relates to hardware, installation direction, and schedule
Complete project install estimates per scope of work as needed
Vet 1099 install teams to assist with building out installation team network
Travel to SKY-CDS production facility once per month, working with PM team on project needs as it relates to installation
Installation work when necessary to support operational needs
Weekly Scorecard Metrics
Installation Quality Control inspections completed
Daily install reports and photos received and reviewed
Install estimates completed per project scope
Daily project updates sent to PM team
Vet 1099 install team
