Account Manager - Hybrid and Remote Position

Scope 

This document applies to all Account Managers managing client interactions, project setups, billing initiations, and project oversight responsibilities. 


Summary of Position Focus 

The Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships, initiating and overseeing new projects, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle, and identifying additional sales opportunities with existing clients. The role focuses on communication, project coordination, and commercial management. 


Responsibilities 

  • Client interactions (calls, emails, meetings) 

  • Scope of Work creation 

  • Project packet setup on Dropbox 

  • Project updates to ERP system 

  • Setting initial project schedules 

  • Delegating project needs to Design and Project Management teams 

  • Creating project proposals 

  • Initiating project billings and updating billing sheet 

  • Project Manager (PM) check-ins on projects 

  • Accounts Receivable (AR) check-ins on active accounts 

  • Updating clients with completion photos and project timelines 

  • Generating additional sales and opportunities with existing clients 

 

Weekly Scorecard Metrics 

  • Client proactive updates sent 

  • Project packets created and organized 

  • ERP system project updates completed 

  • Initial project schedules launched 

  • Billing initiated for new projects 

  • Billing sheet updated 

  • PM project check-ins completed 

  • AR check-ins completed 

  • Existing client new opportunities identified 

  • Completion photos and project timeline updates sent to clients
